Students will reflect on their time in seventh grade, set goals for next year, and brainstorm questions to ask Mr. Benetti.

Students will get a chance to chat with their eighth grade Humanities teacher, Mr. Benetti, and discuss eighth grade!

Students will create a class slideshow to send to their new teachers next year, in order to introduce themselves.

Students will say farewell to each other and celebrate with a virtual picnic.

Look at and discuss the results and conclusion of the Scientific study submitted by Scientists that we have been going over. Use our understanding of the Scientific Method to discuss their process and if what our impressions of it is.

Students will be able to justify their thinking in Writing.
Students will create a playlist of five songs that represent this school year, and explain why they put each song on the playlist.
-Group brainstorm activity to capture important memories and times of the year
-Independent or partner work time (20 minutes)
-Share your playlist with the group at the end of class
Students will be able to show what they know about poetic devices and figurative language.
Poetry terms Kahoot! game Students will be able to write a letter that gives advice to their future selves.
-If we have virtual class next year, what would you tell yourself?
-If we have in-person class next year, what would you tell yourself?
-Be specific when giving advice, and acknowledge what you know about the type of student and person you are. Games!
