Read a book (dual in spanish) emphasize the PROBLEM and/or theme of the story. Recognize the PROBLEM or MAIN IDEA of the story and discuss. Brainstorm a SOLUTION to the problem.

Working on letters and corresponding sounds + syllables in Spanish. Brainstorm words that may have beginning or ending sounds of the letters we are working on.

Recognizing numbers 1-20 (goal is 30 in and out of order) Orally count to 100 is goal so work your way to 100 in small increments until 1 to 100 is accomplished

Placing manipulatives in groups of 10. Practice counting by tens using manipulatives and our fingers.

Compare and contrast two numbers using vocabulary "bigger", "smaller", "more", "less" and "large/larger/largest";. Today we will add vocabulary such as more than, less than and greater than. WE WILL ADD MORE VISUAL GRAPHS TO FACILITATE LEARNING.
