Kindergarten

Digitial Citizenship Shares: Purple Power character introduces importance of standing up for what is right. Students review big ideas each character represents and use Padlet digital board to share what they have learned about Digital Citizenship

 

First Grade
Come on Rain Computer Writing and Design. Students explore online activities, then create a project explaining facts about rain using a Google Doc and Google Drawings.
 

Second Grade

Computer Writing and Design: students review Google Docs and Google Drawing skills as they edit, write, format text and design a unique illustration

Third Grade

Computer History Buncee: Students create a Buncee slide to describe the contributions of a person who helped develop computers, and explain how early computers were different from our modern computers.

Fourth Grade

Digital Citizenship: Students define the term "digital footprint", identify online activities that contribute to it, and analyze responsibilities they have for the digital footprints of themselves and others.

 

Fifth Grade

Google Applied Digital Skills: Evaluating Online Resources - students evaluate their source by researching author and determining whether bias could effect credibility

Room 201: Brass for Beginners Natural Trumpet: Students will begin Unit 3/Chapter 7 and learn about the Salphinx School and play Greek Battle Calls. Room 204: Recorder Practice with Tempo Review, Students will play the song DC Jive and work on Recorder Karate.

Continue Rhythm: Students will practice rhythms with the "Cup Game"
