Computer Writing and Design: an intro to Google Docs and Google Drawing. Students edit, write and format text and design a unique illustration
 

Second Grade

Digital expressions: students learn to use Google Jamboard to describe something about themselves using digital ink, text, shapes and images

Third Grade

Computer History Buncee: students review how to use Buncee to design a digital media presentation

Fourth Grade

Digital Citizenship: Private and Personal Information - students identify the reasons why people share information about themselves online, explain the difference between private and personal information, and why it's risky to share private information online.

Students will review the concept of shape. They will explore how shape is represented in some famous art works and make their own art work focusing on shape using non-traditional materials.
 

First Grade
Students will review the concept of shape. They will explore how shape is represented in a couple famous art works. Students will create artwork focusing on shape using non-traditional materials.
 

Second Grade

Students will review the concept of line. They will examine how some artists have used line effectively in their work. Students will create art with line as a main focus using non-traditional materials.

Third Grade

Students will review the concept of line. They will examine how some artists have used line effectively in their work. Students will create art with line as a main focus using non-traditional materials.

Fourth Grade

Students will review the concept of color. They will examine how some well known artists have used color to represent emotions in their artwork. Students will create art with color as a main focus using non-traditional materials.

 

Fifth Grade

Students will explore how art can build connections among people. Students will explore the work of Rene Magritte's The Son of Man and attempt to pose in the same fashion as the art work. Students will be expected to submit a photograph of an object of their choosing covering their face simular to the pose found in Magritte's work.
 

Sixth Grade

Students will explore how art can build connections among people from different times, places, and cultures. Students will examine artwork found in a virtual tour of a museum. They will select an artwork they believe they can re-create in a non-tradional manner using unconventional materials.

Room 201: Brass for Beginners Natural Trumpet: Practice Articulation and play Egyptian Battle Call Room 204: Recorder Practice, learn low "E" and Recorder Karate assessment: yellow and orange song, introduce green belt song.

 

Fifth Grade

Rhythm and Music Symbols Review: Demonstrate and play rhythms and quiz on musical symbols

 

Sixth Grade

Review Music Time Periods and famous Composers. Brain pop movie/quiz for Beethoven and Mozart
