Monday 4/20

We will celebrate Earth Day this week! We will read Shapes in Nature, and Bees Feed Me on Kids A-Z.

 

SEL: We will sing our morning meeting song which celebrates students being ready to learn, and asks them how they are feeling. Teacher guides student in explaining why they feel that way and offers suggestions for next steps.

 

Tuesday 4/21

The teacher will show students the written pattern in the books on kids A-Z. Students will follow the pattern to write and illustrate their own sentence in their journal about a shape they see in nature.

 

SEL: Share and show activity: Students will practice listening, patience, taking turns, and asking thoughtful questions.
